Better place to teach English: France or Japan?
I heard that some Japanese English teachers don't need to know much Japanese and that English students in these classes want to sound American. I also heard that teachers can get a lot of money there after a year. I also hear that the Japanese love tall people and I'm 5'10. But I also heard that they're pretty conformist and I don't want to deal with any crap for being a foreigner.
With France, I know more French and I love France. But I heard they mostly hire British people to teach English. I also heard that some racial problems may still be there.
I really want to go to both countries before I die in this lifetime, but where can I meet better students and make a better living?

Well in Japan, you also have to think about all other things (for example how the country is such a small size while so many people live there and how much your living costs would be). But in Japan students are also pressured to do good in school because of how crowded Japan is and all the competition. It is true you dont need to know much Japanese to teach them.
I would love to help you with France but I dont know much about it T_T

japan - the students work harder and it sounds like better pay. dont go because of your height and dont rule it out just because they want you to look like them or something
and most european countries prefer to teach british english anyway.
good luck!

I say Japan because there are a lot of Chinese, Japanese, people at my school that can barely speak English, and technically, no French.

I'd go with France, much more sophisticated, friendly and neat.
