Post Can a teacher please advise on some TEFL resources I can find online?
I am soon to start teaching English in India and although I have classroom assisting experience, I don't have any proper teaching experience or qualifications. Can someone please advise on good books? Or online resources to help me? Or any teaching advice in general?

Get hold of a KELTIC catalogue.
I use a series called Chatterbox which comes with Pupil's book, activity book and tape with teacher's book. You could get ideas from that even if you can't have copies for all the pupils.
I also have found Grammar 1&2&3&4 By Jennifer Seidl very good.

These are the sites I use to get ideas. The resources and lesson plans are all from teachers themselves. Adapt the ideas you see and you will not go wrong.

www.onestopenglish.com and other Macmillan resource sites are excellent.
To get coursebook recommendations how about specifying group size and target age and level, if you already know? Or are you looking for methodology books?

You can refer to Oxford Seminars' ESL Teaching Resources http://www.oxfordseminars.com/esl-teach ... /index.php. These online resources cover many different topics and provide help with lesson plans, theory, language acquisition skills, ETC. I have found many to be extremely helpful.
