I'm starting a Trinity College London Tefl course in July for 5 weeks and I have already done two inrtoduction to Tefl courses at university.
I would like to start applying for jobs asap so I can start work in September but I am unsure what to put on my CV as I obviously don't have my Tefl certificate yet.
I'm looking for jobs in Spain and Italy.

The more jobs you apply for the greater the statistical probability that you will have interested offers and interviews.

On your CV you detail the qualification as "in progress", give a completion date, give an availability date and you are off and running.

The more CVs you send out there the more routine letters of interest and offer you will receive even while working in the future.

When you have the time post to as many reputable employment websites as possible and even post on free-boards, etc.

It is amazing how many offers you can get over the years off of a few well-placed ads.

When you are not working it should be easy enough for you to find at least ten to a dozen job ads or websites each day for posting.

In my experience if you are not doing that then you are not working hard enough. Specify Spain or Italy (yikes! pricey!)but settle for Portugal or Serbia if the price is right (for example low costs and high wages are always better options).

I've looked into this myself... Most places will require you to have the qualification before you start. Others will train you on the job. They will certainly specify this. As for your CV, I wouldn't put it on as passed... but certainly put it on as 'in progress' and state when you are likely to finish. You may get offered a provisional offer.
