Can someone help me with some english work?
I have to use "down" as an adverb+a preposition
I have to know what information adverb provides (4 things)
I have to List 3 common conjunctions
I have to use an adverb to modify an adjective (in a sentence)
+write a clear interjection.

Re: Can someone help me with some english work?
1) Adverb: He was feeling down. Down describes how he was feeling. He fell down the slide. Down describes WHERE he fell.
2) Adverb describes (this is an educated guess, not definite) the manner in which something is done, the motivation, mood, i dunno!
3) And, because, and but
4) ????? Sorry!
5) OH! I got an A+ on my science test! (I think this is right!)
Hope this helps, and good luck!

1) was answered by a previous post.
2) an adverb tells you how something was done (manner), the extent to which it was done (degree), when it was done (time), and where it was done (place).
3) was answered
4) an adverb can do three things: modify a verb, modify an adjective, and modify another adverb. So here is an example of an adverb modifying an adjective: "The light blue sky was full of sunshine." blue modifies sky...its an adjective, and light modifies blue, so its an adverb
