 Discipline
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone had any advice of giving discipline for 5-8 year old students. I have a few classes in my school in Chengdu, China which have some out of control students. Swimming on the floor, not listening to the teacher, hitting other students, etc.
Any advice on how to handle it?

Students often lose interest if the class is not exciting enough and if they are not involved enough. Try some games to get the students involved, and if they continue to mis-behave have a student sit out the game outside the classroom for 2-5 minutes.
When they see the fun the other children are having this always sees a good change in the behavior of the student.
