Post Do i need to have a "degree" in order to work in Japan, Okinawa? (Visa)?
I do a lot of research about obtaining a working visa in Japan...and i found out that ...the qualification is to have a degree in Uni .....and i only can stay in japan for 2 or 3 months on a tourist visa (since i am from Malaysia).

Sorry for asking this stupid question , may i know that is it possible for me to obtain a visa without a "degree", like working in a supermarket, teaching English in a kindergarden.

actually i want to live in japan, is to learn music or i should say band coaching from a high school,it may sound childish ..hehe....and i know there is a lot of things that i need to plan , a lot of procedures to do ........ place to stay, job, meal, communicate with Japanese, will i use to it or not and need to know Japan 1st, learn their language , culture so on. I also know that is not easy to work there(part time) ,i don't think that a part time job can support all my finance problem over there . Of course, i also think of my future.....may be i should study 1st before going there....so that i have a backup beside music?

If it is not possible, how about asking the school that i am going to stay in japan to write a letter ...to show that i am learning something in their school for years?..

Currently , i am still studying (pre-U)...wat should i do now? and where should i start.....what i think and know is so limited, i need some advice, i can accept Critic coz only by that i can grow more and gain more experience.

Thank you in Advance for those who give a respond to my question... and sorry for the inconvenience ^^

While it is possible to get a work visa here without a degree, it is a lot easier if you have one. Finish up your studies first, or consider coming on a student visa and studying here. (As a student you can work part-time legally, up to 20 hours a week.)

I am actually here on a valid engineer visa and have never attended university. I had to prove ten years experience in my field to get that though.

Generally, you need college degree to get a working visa for Japan.

And I don't think you can get a visa for working at a supermarket. Working visa is issued on workers with special skill like English teacher.

To work as an English teacher in Japan, you either must be a native speaker of English or have education in English speaking countries for more than 12 years. I don't think you can be in either case.

So there is no short cut answer for you how to move to Japan by getting working visa.
