Post Do I really need a TESOL certificate to teach in Mexico?

I would like to teach English as a second language. I've seen websites where TESL and TESOL certificates are offerred but I'm not sure if its necessary in order to obtain work.

The website below has lots of information about teaching our of the US. Dave's ESL Cafe is also great for resources.
