Post Do you have any tips for learning Japanese?
I am studying to learn Japanese on my Own. Only speaking right now. I am gonna get my Girlfriend to speak with me in Japanese, But that won't happen for a little bit. So, Do you have any tips on learning? Right now I am studying Japanese Grammar, and I want to expand my Vocabulary, because I believe I am really getting the hang of using the sentence structure, However, my Vocabulary is so, so Limited.

r u begginer...?

Make "Japanese friends!" If u want, u can go to "English chat room" this is just an example. it's Japanese site and some ppl does exchanging their msn or whatever. But sometimes it has flood and bothering chatter lol but i seen friendly japanese. dont be shy to go! be agressive!

Watch "YouTube!"do u know applemilk1988? She has learned Japanese by herseif! And she speaks Japanese in her blog. But not only about her.

Watch "Anime!" Even if ur not into Anime. she also learned by an Anime.

Buy "Post-it" and write a word and stick to the object. For example, write" tukue??" (means desk)and stick to the desk! make a lot!! so u can easliy memorize it!

Install Japanese program to able to read and write!

Those r not my an idea. those study ways were by the ppl who had became fluent in Japanese.

Japanese thinks americans r cool. u might be popular lol Hang in there!

Yes, find people who speak Japanese and try to talk to them if you wanna speak. They won't have a clue as to what you are saying, but they might pick up a word. Otherwise just keep practicing writing hiragana and maybe a little kanji. Keep reading simple hiragana manga. Keep studying simple dialogue lesson books. The first time a person understood a single word I said I was so excited. I tried to talk to a person sitting on a bench and said a sentence in 'Japanese.' Then I said 'wakaru?' And he said, 'wakaru.' I said, 'wakaru!' He said, 'wakaranai.' I said, 'wakaru wakaru!' He said, something or other 'wakaranai.' I was just so excited somebody understood a single word that I had said that it motivated me to learn.
