I'm thinking about going to Japan to teach English. I have a BA and a real teaching certificate. But would it be better to just do an eikaiwa first or go through an actual school that is looking for an English teacher.
Do I need the experience from an eikaiwa before trying for a school? I'm not concerned about getting CELTA or TEFL.
NOTE: I know eikaiwa are conversation schools but they are supplementary.
