For high school teachers: Do most high school's need/hire ESL teachers, or English teachers?

 For high school teachers: Do most high school's need/hire ESL teachers, or English teachers? I ask this because, I would like to be either a English teacher ;where I teach composition English, or ESL teacher. Either one would be great.

Re: For high school teachers: Do most high school's need/hire ESL teachers, or English teachers? English teacher is a major in college, so take that. ESL teacher is a job option for somebody with an English teacher degree. Would depend on the high school which they need in any particular year.
