I have to write a 2 to 3 minute speech on why education is important and she said that the subject must agree with the verb, throughout the entire speech, and she also said that we will be timed, on it, please help someone, =)
I am asking how to start off the speech, I just need a few tips, and my speech has to be subject-verb agreement, so I just need a little help

I'm not sure what verb-subject agreement is, but I'd start off with a catchy introduction sentence (play around with different ones, it's hard but you'l eventually think of one you like) and then put in a with a thesis statement.
Since your paper will probably be defied into paragraphs pf points (One paragraph is one reason that education is important, the next is another reason, etc) you list the reasons in a thesis. For example
I believe that, in this country, education is important because
Research your points and you should have a long enough speech :)
