To whom this may concern,
I recently recieved a stipend award from my college. I wanted to gain experience by interning at the Sony Studio. This is a wonderful opportunity for me to learn about the music industry and gain skills. I am willing to work very hard. It is my dream to work at the Sony Studio. I am free during the summer.

First off, if this really is your dream, you don't want to write an email. It's much more impressive to the company if you go in in person and talk to them in person. Also, it shows them that you're dedicated and really want the position.
Letters of recommendation are always good, and make sure you really take into account how you present yourself. Dress appropriately, be straight forward and everything. Good luck!

Email isnt a very good way of persuading anyone. It shows you arent putting very much effort into your search for an internship. It's the lazy way out and would be ignored.
The proper way is to write a nicely worded letter and address it to the Human Resources Manager/Internship Programs Director. Put the letter on nice stationary. It should include the name of your college and what your degree program is as well as what year you are in college and information regarding the stipend program including a contact for them to get in touch with at your school to verify the stipend etc. Tell then that you would appreciate them contacting you regarding available summer internships. Make sure your phone number is there.
Then you should include a resume for yourself. Keep it to one page. A resume should begin with a goals statement - it should say "To obtain an entry level position in the recording industry that will lead to advancement". Include any jobs you have held along with descriptions. Try to show them that you are both a responsible employee and have some experience that would make you valuable to them as an intern. Include any awards you won in school, etc.
Mail it to them in a matching envelope. Make it look very neat and professional. No errors!! Spell and grammar check and make sure it is neatly done and hand signed at the bottom. CC The director of the stipend program in your school. Use nice plain flag stamps - no cartoon characters or baseball players or goofy stamps. Nice simple professional looking flags.
Make sure your complete address is included along with your phone number. You are actually getting this going quite late for summer internships, so get busy NOW!!!
The key is to present yourself in a professional manner. And remember if you do get an interview, go properly dressed in a suit and tie with a neatly trimmed haircut and cleanly shaved etc. Your image should represent maturity and responsiblity.
If you need anyone to review the letter or resume for you, contact me.

Re: Help!! What can I say to get an internship to work for music studio? How can I persuade them tho
For one, ur letter isn't very persuasive. If I were working at that studio and had to read ur letter, I would be bored and just cast it aside.
I think u should write a hand-written letter cuz then u seem more serious. If it were in ur own hand-writing, and I worked there, I would take u more seriously.
Get references. If whoever is there sees that lots of people recommend u, they will definitely consider u.
Research about Sony so when u do get to be an intern, u know a lot about it. It will impress them that they have such a dedicated intern, but don't show off so much where they think ur a snob.
Ur sentences are too plain, add more color to it. use more words that a vivid and work on being persuasive. Give more reason to why Sony and urself will benefit from ur internship. Really think deep about this.
Also, u have a good English. So u don't have to worry there. I think u should worry more about ur sentence structure and lack of persuasiveness (a very key point if u wanna get a job).
Good luck and hope I helped!
