Re: help with English verb forms?
ing - present or future tense
ed - past tense (there are exceptions though)
for example:
to go:
I go - I went - I am going
You go - You went - You are going
She goes - She went - She is going
He goes - He went - He is going
We go - We went - We are going
You go - You went - You are going
They go - They went - They are going

These tests due their best to try to get you confused. I am going to the store. I have been going to the store each day for one year. Just remember past and present tense and if it sounds right it probably is. So have him think of all possible forms and use the one that sounds right.
