check out some online penpal sites... try www.abroadlanguages.com/penpal/. you can talk to people who are fluent in english and sometimes writing to them and having a conversation where they can fix your mistakes and you can pick up on what they are saying, how they say it, and their grammar, and it can help. good luck!

Re: How to learn to speak in English fluently?
Dear,
It is unquestionable that at least to get a teacher to show you a way. Then what you need to do is to use your effort.Since the language you want to speak it fluently is your second language.Do not be afraid if you make a mistake.Do not ashamed of yourself people may laugh if I commit mistakes etc.The other thing is you Have to practice continuously. If you want to improve your reading skill, you have to read at least three, four times a day.If you speak the language fluently, you have to speak in the class and outside your class.Sometimes you may not get a person to speak to.What I advise you to do is to speak in front of a mirror pretending you are speaking with somebody. So make your mind to respond quickly.I also suggest if you read some interesting stories written below your level.Since you understand it very well you enjoy it and also you will be able to capture words and expression that you can use it quickly.I hope my suggestion will help you a little.

Re: How to learn to speak in English fluently?
A decade ago to learn English, you had to attend costly English classes or purchase course material like tapes and books. Now you can learn English for free from the comfort of your home using the internet. The BBC and the British Council offer a number of online courses which teach written and spoken English. You can also improve your English by watching television programs and reading English newspapers. For more information, visit http://tinyurl.com/qnzpt

My SSGT in the Marine Corps learned from watching T.V., believe it or not. However, he can no longer speak very much Filipino.

17 years of Catholic school did it for me. The nuns would tolerate nothing less than perfect grammar.
