Well... I don't know if anybody will be able to help you right now. You're kind of short on time if you've only got 25 minutes. For future reference, use flash cards. I know it sounds old fashioned but they really will help you if you use them correctly. Work on a few words at a time. Once you've mastered those words, pick a new group of words. Do not attempt to memorize all of the words at once, because too many words and associations will be flowing through your head and you'll end up forgetting it all.
When practicing the flash cards (or any other method), try to make associations with the words. There are a lot of cognates in Spanish and English, so some of the words will more than likely be fairly obvious. On the ones that aren't so obvious, try to create your own associations, maybe using a section of the word or rearranging letters in the Spanish word to remind you of something in English.
Lastly, rather than just practicing flash cards (or any other way) on your own, have somebody help you. Find somebody in your class to study with or get your parents to help you. Having another person there to encourage you will definitely help whether you realize it or not.
You shouldn't have too much trouble in general if it's from Spanish to English. If all else fails, just try to remember which words you had to remember in English, and then go back and check which words you haven't used yet. Go from there, making educated guesses and chances are that you'll get at least some of them correct just by eliminating the ones you already know.
Good luck!

make associations...try to work out the cognates, easily, and the others...well, just try to make some connection with something else. I don't know the word list, so I can't even make a suggestion for you.

It depends on your learning style.
This is what works for me.
I try to make associations as Sue suggests but on top of that I write them forming columns and I repeat that many times. Then I start covering one word at a time and try to check if I remember it.
I sometimes try to remember the first letter and make funny words with those initials.
Example
Fantastic
Nothing
None
Yo-yo
Ugly
Resulting word: FUNNY.
