I've been learning Mandarin for a few months. I was wondering if Mandarin would be beneficial for a business student with an Accounting major. I want to work with one of the four business accounting firms in London (UK). I am also fluent in Hindi (India's national language).

I asked this question in the Business and Education sections and got no response at all.

Yes, and good for you!! China and India will be the main economic partners of the US in 10-20 years.

It is always good to know what ones enemy is saying.
So, yes learn Mandarin it will prove beneficial to many fields. And perhaps it wil not show its worth all too late or too soon (for that matter).

China spends more capital on defense than anything else. They have a vested interest in intimidation through not only numbers but up in coming technology and alliances. They are building a blue water navy; need I say more?
