Post Lesson planning
is it advisable to carry a lesson plan with me whenever i go for classroom facilitation? in my own opinion i feel that it would distract the proceedings of the session since one may be forced to make reference to it. aditionally, i think it would prove lack of competence on the part of the teacher.

There is NEVER such a thing as a teacher being OVER prepared. The more prepared you are, the better the evaluation will be. This also goes for teaching in the classroom. If you have lessons prepared in advance, you're more able to focus on children who are struggling and on the actual act of teaching. You never can never be TOO prepared. It doesn't show dependence -- it shows competence and organization.
