I am looking to take a TESOL/TEFL Certification course (non-degree) here in Taiwan. Can anyone recommend a reputable program that is more internationally recognized? In particular I would like to know which of these program providers is a better choice:

1. Global TESOL College (based in Canada)
2. American TESOL Institute (based in US)
3. London Teacher's Training College (based in UK)

a B.S. degree.

I have worked with teachers who have done the Global course and the LTTC courses and they both have similar approaches to their work but neither opted for the full practical option as part of their respective courses.
The Cambridge CELTA and the Trinity College (London) TESOL are certainly the most widely known in Europe and elsewhere. It does depend on where you are thinking of teaching next and if you intend to make English teaching your career, at least for a few years.
