Post Tactics for teaching English in Poland to young children?
I'm going to an orphanage in Poland at the end of summer to teach English to 3-11 year olds. There will be a big language barrier because I speak very little Polish. I also don't have an education/teaching background so I'm a little clueless as to how to make the experience fun. Does anyone have tips on how to make learning fun and easy? I want them to learn the language without thinking "oh man, I feel like I"m in school." Or does anyone know of good websites with tips on teaching English in a "camp-like" setting?
Thanks!

This sounds like a great opportunity. One thing you could do is find some popular essays that are available in both English and their native language. The essay will allow them to see how their language translates! Good luck!
