 Grammar help?
Sometimes in my grammar, I don't know which one to use. Example: If I 'were' to be a champion. Or is it...."If i 'was' a champion? Can someone help me improve my grammar and when to use which one? Thanks! =)

 Re: Grammar help?
'were'- is kind of talking about the future
'was'- is talking about the past

 Re: Grammar help?
"I was", never "I were". It depends more on if it is singular or plural for which one to use. For example:
He / She / It / I = was
You / They / We = were
Same thing with "is" and "are", with the exception that it is "I am" instead of "I is."
He / She / It = is
You / They / We = are
("Was" and "were" are past-tense forms of "is" and "are.")
Hope this helps!

 Re: Grammar help?
Was - past first & third singular of "be"
Were - past second singular, past plural of "be"
It depends on the tense you want to use.
