Suggestions for learning spanish through music?
Ok, so I work with a lot of spanish speakers and have spanish speaking friends. Its been a little goal of mine to learn as much spanish as I can, and I have found music helps a lot.
But I dont know how to pick out what kind of music I'd like. In English I like Rap/RnB/Rock (and the rap I like usually more rhytmical). I don't like a lot of reggaeton, there are some good songs but the only artist/group I've been able to really get hooked on is Calle 13.
I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions. If the group name includes Los or Bando it probably won't work lol....and no Pepe Aguilar.

try with these artist: Alejandro Fernandez ( Spain singer), who sings with Beyonce the song Amor Gitano which is a lovely one. Try also with Shakira, Ricky Martin, Ricardo Arjona, Ricardo Montaner, Mana, Diego Torres, Luis Miguel, Paulina Rubio, La ley.

Try PEDRO INFANTE I think you could learn a better spanish than listening to MANA
Luis Miguel (that is conciderated as the mexican Frank Sinatra)

Re: Suggestions for learning spanish through music?
diego torres is really good
same with mana
alejandro sanz
as far as reggaeton: try wisen y yandel y aventura..try out the song:noche de sexo:D so good!!!
daddy yankee is pretty good...
u can try rebeldeXD
ok...
but to tell the truth...reggaeton helps with real spanish the most in my opinion./..lots of common AND slang words and lots of repetition=D
