Post TEFL Teaching for Filipinos?
I've been wanting to travel and experience the world cultures and I think teaching ESL would be a good idea to help me get up and go.

anyone know good deals on TEFL Schools?
What do you think is a good place to start at?

Don't think of this profession in terms of the money you would be making, it really isn't that much unless you already are a seasoned teacher.
So I suggest going to places you think you would enjoy or probably to a place with the least culture shock.

country specific requirement is something you should look into too, some require college degrees others don't, so do your research well.

TEFL International has a TEFL Center in the Philippines, if memory serves.

Yes, TEFL International has a school in Cebu.

But I'd suggest getting your course where you would be teaching.
You'd have a head start when looking for a decent place to work and cope with the culture shock :) or something like that. Seriously, the chance to scout schools is invaluable. You can look at a deal online and turns out the school is horrible.
