I think your question needs more focus. When you say recruiting companies, what country do you wish to work in? Remember, some countries almost require recruiters like Saudi Arabia or Russia (you would not want to go for the first time without a recruiter to help you out). However, counties like Korea and Taiwan, jobs are readily available and it may be in the best interest of the teacher to try to find a job on there own. Countries like Mexico, Spain, China... it is best to be very careful with a recruiter.
I would love to give you a hand... but without a place in mind I can not really say much. Just whatever you do, do not PAY to be Recruited. The school generally pays the recruiter to find you. And NO money upfront.
