even you may not having prof. qualification, if you know this language, then you can get better jobs there.

It's just like any other language. You learn it so that you can communicate with Chinese people. The China market is growing greatly, so it would be an advantage if you know how to speak their language.

However, there is also an increasing number of Chinese people who are learning English so that no one would feel left out if they want to work in the US or Europe.

Its the most widely spoken language in the world, with over 900 million speakers. That makes it more than twice of either English or Hindi, which come 2nd and 3rd respectively! Also, China is fast progressing towards dispatching the USA as the world's next superpower. So its no wonder if Mandarin DOES become the global language after 100 years or so.

China (and Asia) have the most potential to grow economically. Mandarin is the speaken language, so it helps you communicate with the locals.
