Hi, I am a Hong Kong born Chinese. However, I have been to Canada since 1990. I can speak chinese but reading and writing are my weakest area. Ever since going back to Hong Kong during the summer in 2006, I really would like to learn it again.

Anyone know any software or books or classes to learn cantonese or even mandrain? Thanks .

speaking is always much easier. If your gonna try to learn how to write and read, it is going to be really hard. (not impossible) there are tons of books and softwares available all over the net, ie ebay, amazon etc. The problem with those is that you really have to put effort into it because if you are constantly busy, you may find yourself using it for a couple of weeks and then forgetting it if you miss one day of it
