I have nothing against Koreans in the Philippines. In fact i find them attractive. My only question is, if they want to learn English why don't they hire teachers from other countries and bring them to their schools to instruct a whole class. Won't that be more practical?

There are a lot of countries where if you cannot prove that they possess skills necessary to the job that the employer can't find from a citizen of that country, then they can't hire from other countries. This is in stark contrast to the US where companies can easily hire illegal immigrants and pay them under the table because the US government won't enforce its own laws.

Probably, but we *are* reputed in having English as a primary/secondary language (although we've murdered it in more ways than one). And they also want to go here for the experience, probably.

And hey, you wouldn't mind as long as they stayed here, right?
